Position Overview:

The Solutions Architect provides pre-sales technical support to Inseego's sales teams and channel partners. Responsible for providing technical knowledge to clients and potential clients. Provides technical guidance by attending sales calls, presentations, product demonstrations, and installations/implementations. Working closely with our technology, engineering, product management teams and partners, you will develop robust, scalable, and flexible architecture designs for various projects. Your important work will include assessing, integrating, planning, and on-boarding our partners' applications and systems. Ultimately, it is about enhancing the customer experience - giving them a wider choice of products and services to choose from.

Projects include: Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, 4G / 5G cellular data network solutions, mobile data services, network security, advanced wireless technologies, wireless video, specialized software applications, systems integration and more.

Must be willing to travel up to 50% in support of Inseego sales and support staff.

Responsibilities:

Customer Engagement

• Building and maintaining strong (customer, and channel partner) relationships.

• Maintain a high level of expertise in IoT and Mobility related technologies, and industry trends.

• Facilitate discovery and design meetings with (customer, channel partners) and Inseego participant teams.

• Gather customer requirements based on their IoT / mobility environment, technical, and operational needs.

• Ability to facilitate discussing and conveying complex technical information effectively in person, over the phone, Microsoft Teams, and through email correspondence.

• Understanding of Inseego products and services with the ability to recommend and determine the proper solutions and configurations of related equipment based on customer requests and technical environment.

• Responsible for solution design and configuration to ensure customer systems operate at optimal performance.

• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills - an ability to assess and recommend the best solution based on the client's requirements and environment.

• Create solution proposals, that meets customer's stated goals, complete peer review, and validate with Sales.

• In collaboration with sales, work to define work scope, deliverables, timelines, and Inseego/ Customer's roles and responsibilities.

• Present solution proposals to customers in collaboration with Sales.

• Present and facilitate Inseego product training to customers and partners.

• Ability to work in a professional manner onsite in a customer facing environment, as well as team environment.

• Troubleshooting and repair of complex mobile data systems, IoT infrastructure and network architecture.

• Configuration and testing of mobile data hardware and software.

• Lead technical engagement with vendors for products and support issues.

• Work closely across multiple INSEEGO's organizations including Product, Marketing, Professional Services, Network, and IT to optimize solutions and increase customer value.

Experience/Requirements:

• A minimum of five (5) years' experience architecting / designing / supporting production-quality carrier / enterprise class, IoT and advanced mobility systems.

• Experience with IoT platforms and devices, middleware, device management, and related IoT/M2M/SCADA technologies.

• Experience with mobility platforms and devices, middleware, device management and related enterprise mobility management technologies.

• Experience with network technologies (NFC / PAN / WAN), including terrestrial (IP-based), satellite, cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, ZigBee, and low power (LPWAN).

• Expert level knowledge of TCP/IP networking and CIDR subnetting from the host system perspective is required.

• Expert level IPv4 & IPv6 experience required.

• IP filtering and firewalls.

• Expert level experience with a variety of wireless technologies such as CDMA, 4G / 5G LTE, VoIP, GSM, CBRS, and Stand-Alone LTE Networks.

• Experience with IoT, mobility, cyber security technologies, and vendors.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management (or other related technology degree) or equivalent field experience.

• Six or more years of relevant work experience

Salary range: $160k - $180k plus commission plan

This base pay range will vary depending on experience, qualifications, and location. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Inseego.
