Job Description:

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is hiring for the following role in Cambridge, MA (multiple openings): Solutions Architect II. Analyze and implement Akamai solutions, and provide consultative approaches to our customers' most challenging technical problems.

Contribute to technology-based solutions and consult on feasibility as part of a cross-functional project team. Own technical components of customer integration projects including configuration, debugging, documentation, testing, and go live support. Resolve issues that arise during customer trials, integrations, or post implementation support.

Accurately scope implementation timelines for integration. Identify technical risks and provide mitigation strategies. Review configurations with other professional service team members to ensure quality and accuracy to requirements. 10% domestic travel required. Required Qualification:

Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, Management Information Systems; Information Technology, Informatics, Telecommunications, or Telecommunications Systems Management, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or closely related technical role.

Must have: two (2) years of experience with the following: HTML, CSS, Javascript, cybersecurity & information security, VBA macros, and customer relationship management.

Compensation:

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $102973 - $154614/year; a candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
