Solutions Architect/ Managed Services (Cloud, SOC, Network)
GDT General Datatech has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Managed Services Solutions Architect to join our fast-growing and innovative team. This role will focus on
engaging with the customer in both pre- and post-sales capacities to scope and architect Network Operations, Security Operations, and or Managed Hosting opportunities within enterprise and commercial-select customer environments.

Qualify sales opportunities in terms of technical requirements, competitive landscape, and business drivers
Position Manage services and Managed Security Services with the customer with outcome based/SLA driven solutions
Scope Customer engagements for both local and offshore requirements
Scope and document technical solution and success criteria
Demonstrate strategic value to customer by leading consultative activity such as demonstrations, and solution briefings
Provide technical oversight of Proof of Concepts (POCs) - Present POC results and articulate solution benefits to customer
Develop responses for Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Request for Information (RFIs)
Orchestrate all resources involved to develop a multi-service level solution
Articulate ITIL processes and Methodologies and the value GDT Managed Services can provide.
Competencies and Accomplishments:
BS or MS in computer science, engineering, or another quantitative field.
A minimum of 3+ years of sales engineering experience in the Network Operations, Security Operations, and or Managed hosting
Ability to learn and understand the customers technical and business challenges and translates complex requirements into qualified sales opportunities.
Ability to assist in business development and growing the mindshare of the service offering in the marketplace.
Ability to ensure positive customer satisfaction even after a sale is completed
Ability to develop strong relationships and collaborates with technical peers.
Ability to own the POC process, scoping technical requirements, defining success criteria, and determining schedule based on customer input and capabilities of resource availability and technology.
You have a deep background of ITOA and articulate the value of Automation and AIOPS
You have Knowledge of managed service contractual constructs, experience in the development of contract schedules.
You are creative and determined in applying the solution to the customers problems and proposing alternatives.
You continually sharpen your technical skills and understanding of the competitive and ecosystem landscape relative to our solution.
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or closely related fields
