The Operational Assurance & Analytics Program Lead will assess and qualify new business opportunities that leverage Operational Assurance and analytics capabilities for Spirent's target customers. Communications Service Providers (CSPs), Network Equipment/Solution Providers (NEMs), and Systems Integrators (SIs). This role is vital to driving new growth engines for Spirent's future.
The Operational Assurance & Analytics Program Lead will work across multiple Business Units, in a multi-discipline environment, including product management, product marketing, sales, and senior management, along with corporate marketing. Successful candidates will be comfortable in both the technology and business domains, with a proven track record driving new product initiatives in Operational Assurance/Analytics/Network Automation. Experience in the open networking community is especially sought, along with a background in Network Management, Network Performance Monitoring, Network Testing and Validation, and OSS/BSS is also desired.

Qualify new opportunities that leverage all of Spirent's Core Competencies.
Champion new opportunities and product planning internally, attaining alignment and buy-in across the company.
Develop marketing plans, campaigns, and programs to promote the priority opportunities.
Position and promote the key messaging, and develop marketing content and publications.
Elevate Spirent's presence in the open networking community, including Standards Development Organizations (SDOs), Open Source Projects, and industry groups.
Demonstrate thought leadership with Spirent customers, partners, as well as at industry fora and events.
Contribute to strategic methodologies for opportunity analysis, investment analysis, and marketing planning.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; or equivalent work experience
10+ years of strategic marketing, product management, and/or product marketing experience
Experience with solutions, hardware, software, and services businesses
Proven success with managing by influence
Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
Established relationships with industry analysts and media a plus
Leadership experience in the open standards and open source communities a plus
Ability to travel 20-20% of time
