The Solution Sales Manager (SSM) is an integral part of the Secure Power commitment to winning and maintaining customers through unmatched customer service and responsiveness. This SSM is the Company's representative for direct, indirect, and Elite Partner accounts within English Caribbean Region.

Strategy/Execution Plan
1.Account Management Meets with senior and executive management at key end user accounts to develop both joint strategic and tactical annual plans that have measured execution to the plan throughout the year. Ensures account is in good financial standing with respect to credit and manages any escalated issues to ensure adequate resolution. Develops account action plans to ensure dealers, Integrators, and Elite partners are capable of finding, selling, installing, and managing end user opportunities with SE Secure Power product and solutions
2.Sales coverage - Meets frequently with key personnel at accounts, partners, and 3rd party collaborators to discuss opportunities, training needs, marketing needs, and strategies for growing the SE Secure Power business. Aggressively follows up on all leads and devises cooperative action plans to foster SE Secure Power best odds of success.
3.Product Becomes expert on the SE Secure Power product portfolio and processes and conducts product demonstrations to prospective dealers, distributors, and end users. SSM has the ability to assist in project value engineering, product placement, and specification reviews.
4.Territory Development Develops a strategic event and marketing plan for the territory to include and executes to achieve annual objectives. Provides updates to management and the rest of the SE Secure Power sales team.

Essential Functions and Key Performance Indicators

o SSM works with SE Secure Power authorized dealers, distribution branches, and indirect dealers to find and close sales opportunities involving SE Secure Power solutions.

o SSM coordinates other SE resources including regional management, marketing assets, pre-sales engineering and technical support resources, and others to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.

o SSM updates dealers, integrators, distribution partners and their staff on new SE Secure Power product introductions as well as conducting product demonstrations for end users and at local and regional trade shows.

o SSM participates in business development activities by keeping abreast of competitive threats and opportunities, maintaining territory situational awareness, identifying key competitive resellers to win and participating in local industry associations that can provide sources for new leads.

o SSM maintains an accurate sales funnel and provides updates on a regular basis to regional sales manager and team.

o Creates partnerships with other Schneider BU's in territory to assist in overall Schneider sales and allow this to support SE Secure Power sales.

o SSM is responsible for his/her empowerment to make decisions with in the territory for the best interest of the company's customers and Schneider Electric.

We are looking for someone who can successfully build and maintain relationships with key accounts.

  • 3 years successful sales track record

  • 3 years project based/solution sales experience

  • Solid understanding of industry and technology

To succeed in this role, the Solution Sales Manager will spend the majority of their time in the field face to face with key accounts, and this will require a minimum of 50% travel.

Candidates must speak English fluently, and the ability to speak French would be a plus.

Candidates will preferably be located in Miami, FL

What will I be doing? The Hilton MDP in the Caribbean and Latin America (CALA) is a comprehensive six-month learning opportunity designed to attract top hospitality students from key colleges and universities. Hilton CALA is focused on hiring graduating seniors and placing them in a successful management training program at the property level that can lead to long-term managerial job placement specific to Revenue Management, Finance, Food & Beverage, Sales & Marketing, Operations, Front Office, Housekeeping, and Engineering. This hands-on program begins with a general rotation during the MDP's first 6 to 8 weeks on property. During this time, they are exposed to all areas of a hotel in order to develop a solid business insight and understanding of how these relate to their selected department. Following the general rotation, the next 9 to 24 weeks are focused primarily on developing manager capability and knowledge of their selected area of specialization. This full-time paid training program begins in Summer or Fall and offers potential job placement opportunities at one of our participating CALA hotels upon successful completion.
