The position has the following responsibilities:
The Pre-sales, Business Development candidate will act as a trusted advisor and lead pre-sales architecture activities partnering with the customer sales teams and customers in the North America region.
The candidate will lead technical pre-sales engagements and lead solution definition across multiple domains such as wireless, wireline, enterprise and IoT networks.
The candidate will define and capture critical requirements coming from different stakeholders (sales teams and customers), and translate those requirements into efficient solutions. This will require the candidate to develop the full scope of solutions, working across NSW organizations, and at times with other Nokia product divisions to achieve workable solutions.
The candidate must be able to organize data and information from multiple sources and present their ideas or opinions in a well-organized manner in support of both written and verbal communications.
The candidate will directly interact with product teams to define and/or adapt solutions that meet the customer's needs, and will drive requirements into product unit roadmaps.
The candidate will develop and deliver Customer Presentations.
Travel is required for customer engagements (as necessary).
Focus will be primarily pre-sales engagements, however the candidate may also be asked to support on-going projects, as necessary
Location: Candidate should be located in: Plano or Irving, TX.
At least 8 years of work experience in software engineering (product management, sales engineering/pre-sales, bids and proposals, or system engineering).
Knowledge of NSW Digital Operations products such as Service Fulfillment, Service assurance and general Cloud knowledge.
Technical knowledge of Cloud, IMS, LTE, Wireless Networks and associated Protocols.
Master level education in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science or Telecommunications Engineering.
Knowledge of the Telco, Cable and Enterprise segments (service providers, enterprises and Internet of Things) and their Digital Operations requirements.
Ability to successfully lead and manage cross functional team, cross geographical teams
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills required.
Ability to work under pressure and meet critical timelines.
