We're currently seeking a Solutions Sales Enterprise Account Director to grow and maintain deep and lasting relationships with several of our enterprise pharmaceutical and healthcare clients. You'll be in the lucky recipient of a few very large and established accounts ripe with significant additional opportunity. You'll also have a few colder accounts to put your stamp on.

Our ideal candidate has a successful track record selling solutions to C-suite and director level buyers at fortune 500 companies. Previous success penetrating enterprise clients by selling into multiple departments and business units is crucial.

An experienced solution sales professional with an understanding of the digital creative and marketing space will easily call Aquent home. Experience in the staffing industry is preferred but not mandatory. Our next account director will be an active listener with a keen appreciation of the listen more and talk less philosophy.


  • Call on prospective clients/contacts by phone and in person, explaining the process and benefits of specialized staffing and to obtain an appointment to discuss their marketing/interactive design workforce needs in more detail.

  • Responsible for setting strategy, executing that strategy and achieving revenue growth in new and existing clients. Responsible for successfully formulating and implementing innovative sales strategies.

  • Responsible for development and successful usage of multiple sources of sales leads (other media, internal and external networking, and investigating new businesses).

  • Build an effective consultative relationship with clients and key contacts during the sales process. Key contacts include Senior Level Marketing, Digital and Creative Services Management, Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Diversity, and HR.

  • Collaborate with others to develop sales proposals designed to meet individual client needs. Negotiate expectations, terms, conditions, and pricing of services with new clients with support from Service Team.

  • Generate orders from client meetings, referrals, networking or showcasing Talent.

  • Conduct regularly scheduled internal meetings to update the service delivery teams and management on the progress of the account.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • 5-7 years of consultative sales experience with fortune 500 organizations.

  • Demonstrated success landing multiple buyers (C suite and director level) in a variety of departments or business units- Go deep and wide within a national account.

  • Strong "complex-problem solving" skills and negotiation skills.

  • Knowledge of or experience with digital marketing & creative a plus (UX, UI, Interaction Design, Visual Design).

  • Proven experience leading all aspects of the sales process including lead generation, account strategy development, discovery/client needs analysis, proposal development, presentations, pricing & negotiations, contract execution and implementation.

  • Consistent achievement of sales objectives and quotas.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to successfully interact with individuals at all levels, both within the client organization and within Aquent.

  • Ability to travel as needed for client visits.

  • 4-year degree in a Business-related field

The Account Director will independently manage a medical education plan for brands from strategic concept development through implementation and financial reconciliation, driving daily development and execution of account initiatives, and serve as a main client contact. This position manages the client relationship by serving as the account key contact managing an entire account brand from assisting in strategic concept development through tactical implementation. The Account Director manages the development and production of account assigned communication tactics independently or as a supervisor of an account team. The Account Director will liaise with upper management to provide professional updates on program and fiscal status of account.
