The Account Representative V is a systems focused specialist for net new customers to the RealPage product suite, surrounding OneSite. The Account Representative V will have assigned revenue goals and activity responsibilities. The position will be responsible for visiting management companies and owners in a named account territory, attending manager's meetings with RealPage clients, attending industry functions on behalf of RealPage, Inc. and meeting with client executive management.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following:
New sales activities include the management of prospecting, qualifying, and closing of new product and service sales.
Generating new sales revenue within a given geographic, named products or territory of accounts.
Meeting with clients at field locations.
Attend industry meetings with industry associations and Trade Shows, meetings are mandatory and may occur on evenings and weekends.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Four-year college degree in business or equivalent work experience
Ability to identify, qualify and prioritize prospects
Ability to present products and solutions to large groups
Ability to assess a situation and quickly formulate the correct solution
Ability to effectively and efficiently manage a geographic territory on an on-going basis
Sales experience with a software solution required
Minimum of 8 years of formal software sales work experience with a record of exceeding assigned quotas
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Computer software skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, Internet Explorer and PowerPoint
Any certifications with Real Estate associations such as IREM or NAA are desired
Contact management software experience with Salesforce.com is a plus
Industry meetings with industry associations and trade shows will be required. These meetings are mandatory and may occur on evenings and weekends
This person will be a self-motivated, hardworking, detail-oriented individual with punctual follow-up with clients on daily activities
This individual needs to be a self-starter that is motivated by resolving client issues and selling solutions in order to collect commission income
Position requires extensive field activities including overnight and some weekend travel
