About You and this Role

Liferay is seeking a Solution Enablement Specialist with sales and training delivery skills to join the Liferay Sales Enablement team. This role will play an important part in the ongoing skill development and sales productivity of Liferay's Global Account Executives.

Key Objectives:

  • Create a playbook of execution for closing new logo deals in conjunction with our global leadership that will drive results for the business-minded sales organizations.

  • Work with Liferay leadership to create a scalable, repeatable, and efficient process for attaining new revenue streams.

  • Review deals with first-line managers and new business teams to create consistent messaging across the globe.

  • Develop individual results by providing coaching, deal review, resource planning, and procedure deployment for outcome improvement.

  • Design a program that targets new revenue and provides a repeatable process with a 3 year plan of execution using adult education methodologies.

  • Plan, Implement, and manage solution sale educational workshops that are either instructor-led or virtual.

  • Project manage the deployment of solution certifications.

  • Project manage the creation of an advanced sales playbook.

  • Setup a measurement protocol and key success metrics for leaders to make data driven decisions on needs, strengths, and weaknesses of the sales team that provides a feedback loop to marketing.

  • Trusted advisor to new business team and advocate for solution-minded material that aligns with corporate strategy and company vision.

  • Develop career progression programs with sales leadership that, at its core, is designed to help the individuals grow and get better.

  • Consultative approach to drive consistent sales strategy on the global playing field.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or similar completed education.

  • 5 - 8 years of experience in sales, documentation creation, and/or training content development.

  • Experience with strategic and conceptual selling concepts to gain customer trust.

  • Proven track record with deal closing and mentoring of sales teams.

  • Effective with in-person and virtual training delivery including vILT tools, management of in-person and virtual audiences, and content delivery techniques.

  • Development of sales coaching and sales training processes that resulted in revenue attainment.

  • Demonstrated ability to quickly understand newly learned information and put information into active use.

  • Ability to work with limited supervision; disciplined to maintain personal time management, manage risk, transparent communication with manager and co-workers, and ability to problem solve.

  • Clear and concise writing skills, ability to translate technical topics into non-technical language, and demonstrate the ability to adapt writing style based on critical feedback from stakeholders and users of deliverables.

  • Candidates must be able to identify minimum-viable deliverables, meet deadlines, and iterate on delivered assets for continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Skilled in Challenger, Sandler, Miller Heinman, or another form of sales methodology and can explain the curricula in depth.

  • Capable of presenting in front of large groups either information lectures, training events, or both.

  • Experience with a global audience and knowledge of cultural impact on teams.

  • Desire to progress career into Sales or Operations roles.

  • Ideal candidate will have current knowledge of one or more Liferay products from any perspective (e.g. sales, marketing, support, documentation, etc.)

  • The ideal candidate will have training curricula and training content development experience.
