Solution Design Manager

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Responsible for supporting local site level logistics through the following activities:

• Process/Client Implementation Support at Sites

• Systems Training/Field Systems Support

• Inventory Reconciliation Activities

• Standardization exercises in conjunction with corporate product goals

• Process Review/Reengineering consistent with lean methodology

• Systems Demonstration in support of sales efforts

• Other duties as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Position may require extended periods of sitting, computer use, standing and walking. Some light lifting may be required in some instances.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to travel and stay for extended periods at an operational site

• Ability to communicate corrective action plans throughout the organization

• Ability to develop implementation Gant charts and plans for a specific project

• Ability to multi task multiple requests and prioritize to meet all deadlines.

• Ability to lift 50 #

• Ability to work in a warehouse environment for a significant portion of the day

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• 3 plus years' experience in process design and implementation
• 3 plus years' experience in logistics operations
• 1 plus years' experience in teaching/training
• 1 plus years' WMS Experience
