You will work closely with our Marketing & Sales Solutions team and diverse McKinsey resources to drive ongoing client success and service delivery processes.
In this role you will leverage our Solutions team and other firm assets to serve clients and create sustainable impact. You will often work on more than one project at time and will be at the core of bridging client business challenges with our Solutions' capabilities.
You will work closely with clients, McKinsey consultants and business, product and data team in joint problem-solving sessions. You will perform ad hoc analysis of key business questions to maximize project success. You will also collaborate with client and internal teams to help influence our product roadmap to best meet client business needs.
You will master the analytics/methodology embedded in our Marketing & Sales Solutions (Periscope) as well as the data concepts related. You will also develop a deep understanding of the domain/function (across pricing, promotions, trade architecture and assortment) and how they are implemented in an organization.
Additionally, you will support clients in their use of our Solutions (Periscope) to sustainably drive high impact. This involves engaging with client sponsors on a regular basis to discuss how to drive user adoption. You will also deliver training materials and provide ongoing educational support to clients as needed.
Bachelor's degree in business or in engineering
3-5 years of experience in the field of IT, consulting and/or business intelligence
Evidence of strong client management and relationship building skills
Good technical background, including familiarity with SQL and ETL tools
Strong Excel skills
Experience of working with large databases, data visualization tools, machine learning and statistics is a plus
Exposure to the Marketing & Sales function is a plus
Sound problem-solving with ability to quickly process complex information and present it clearly and simply
