What will your role be?

As a Senior Solution Consultant for Lab Management you will provide design/configuration review, engineering support (including firefighting when necessary) and work closely with sales and presales to identify and close new business. You will work with sales, technical sales, product management, R&D, as well as customers. You will work as part of the NAM Services team to develop, define and create the necessary collateral required for repeatable solutions and best practices. You will provide thought leadership by working with peers in leadership to understand where the market is going, what is important to customers, understand new technologies and products and develop strategies for developing new services for those products.

This position is open to candidates that are located anywhere in the USA.

The challenges ahead

  • Communicating our capabilities to customers and aligning with their business objectives.

  • Partnering with the pre-sales and sales team to engage with clients and identify new Services opportunities.

  • Engage with client leadership to support solution understanding, value and ROI.

  • Involve and drive sales teams to create and win new business on strategic accounts by leveraging Dassault Systmes solutions.

  • Contribute to the services team in achieving their business objectives and revenue/margin goals.

  • Ensure the continued evolution of the services team, anticipate the future needs of our customers and help develop standard services for lab management.

  • Contribute to improved lab processes by standardizing lab processes and adoption of standard procedures, recipes and workflows. Providing a single foundation for integration, automation and collaboration in the lab that is end-to-end tailored to the lab based roles.

  • See the interrelationship of a project across "the big picture" and understand its dependency on other projects in the program as required.

  • Analyze and correct reported issues and/or execute software changes required by the customer aligned with R&D strategies.

  • Capitalize on project deliverables to ensure reusability.

Your key success factors

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.

  • Experience in life sciences such as biology, pharmacology or chemistry.

  • In-depth knowledge of the QC lab management domain and workflows related to life sciences.

  • Self-starter, self-directed, individual who can work well in a remote setting.

  • Sophisticated customer facing skills to scientific audiences.

  • Strong client services focus with demonstrated understanding of customer's business domain, deliver process and technology that improve solution delivery capability.

  • Highly adaptable; willing to work in an ever-evolving agile development environment.

  • An advanced knowledge of the software development and project lifecycle methodologies.

  • Confident in working in a multi-site geographically dispersed team.

  • Willingness and ability to travel to customer locations both domestically and to international locations - 30% to 50%.

  • Well versed in partner management and can look for new opportunities to optimize our partner contracts, relationships and value proposition.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels, within IT and Business teams.

  • Exceptional listening, problem solving, negotiation, and facilitation skills.
