Solution Architect HR Systems

Location: Santa Clara, CA

We are seeking a seasoned end to end solution architect with expertise that includes integrating HR strategies and programs, implementing and optimizing HR systems and processes especially Talent Acquisition (TA) platforms, being a change agent, and developing HR data management practices. The role will reside within the IT Digital Talent Experience team and will provide global solution architect services to our. HR teams to help accelerate execution across large-scale, strategic initiatives that improve our operational capabilities, the employee experience, and/or reduce cost-to-serve.

The successful individual in this role will work collaboratively with HR Centers of Excellence teams, IT business analysts, program delivery managers, and operations teams to ensure all strategic programs are architected with a clear understanding of dependencies, connections, and risks.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather required data and synthesize information highlighting associated risks and changes needed for success to the various program owners and key stakeholders to drive a truly integrated roadmap

  • Help facilitate decisions based on a deep understanding of how a process or system change in TA may affect other processes, systems or people and promote approaches to identify a shared purpose from multiple stakeholders

  • Provide direction on integrating enterprise TA strategies by identifying opportunities, dependencies, risks, connections, and leverage points across planned initiatives

  • Apply a system mindset to all TA initiatives to architect an overall implementation and change management plan that accounts for all the interdependencies and opportunities

  • Anticipate business needs and present possible directions and future strategies for the team to consider through research and innovation methods

  • Understand best practices and analyze emerging trends in the industry to serve as a thought leader, to influence and develop scalable strategies, frameworks, and programs

  • Drive consistent use of common employee related data fields across TA and downstream systems and provide guidance and expertise on data validation at the point of entry to enhance data quality, and drive adoption of best practices

  • Partner with IT Enterprise Architecture team in developing a technology framework that delivers business capability

  • Work with program managers and business analysts on identifying issues / risks and required mitigation to ensure delivery of end-to-end strategic design

  • Successfully communicating conceptual ideas and design rationale to executive stakeholders

  • Act as the solution wide functional subject matter expert embedded within a larger delivery team

Requirements:
Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business, or equivalent; Master's degree is a plus

  • 8+ years of experience in HR or TA systems, transformation and large global projects

  • Experience with driving continuous improvement across global technology and processes

  • Experience implementing, managing, and supporting HR or TA systems and support and/or HR business or consulting experience

  • Experience managing highly-complex projects independently that cross multiple business units, divisions, functions, and regions

  • Demonstrated competency in strategic thinking and system design architecture as it impacts business processes and interdependencies

  • Experience communicating design rationale clearly and concisely and build consensus / relationships in a matrix environment

This is a key position in the CIO organization with very high visibility at the executive and company levels. The Solution Architect will report to the Director of IT Infrastructure, Platforms & Architecture who is located in Santa Clara, CA. The IT Solution Architect will drive IT initiatives, working with R&D, Sales, Marketing, Customer Support, and HR. We're building a new SaaS offering at Infoblox, and you will have the opportunity to join on the ground floor. The successful candidate will play a key role in working to define the service from the IT point-of-view and to ensure that we delight our customers with that experience. Responsibilities: * Design and architect SaaS/Cloud-based solutions that integrate IT's CRM (Salesforce) and ERP (Oracle Fusion) systems with Infoblox's SaaS-based product platform * Work with IT Product Managers and Product Development Solution Architects to identify core initiatives in SaaS/Cloud and help define and vet business requirements * Provide IT architectural leadership for key business processes such as Lead to Cash, Procure to Pay and Issue to Resolution * Work with Engineers to design CRM/ERP solutions to meet business requirements * Work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams throughout the company as a subject matter expert in CRM/ERP with a solution and implementation focus * Communicate effectively with Executives across different LOBs * Drive and manage highly visible IT projects Requirements: * 10+ years' experience in large scale IT applications architecture * 5+ years working with SaaS/Cloud products and technologies * 5+ years' experience gathering and recording business requirements and documenting them in user stories in systems like VersionOne or Rally * 5+ years' experience in ERP like Oracle and CRM like Salesforce SalesCloud, CPQ, and ServiceCloud * 3+ years of software development experience * 2+ years' experience generating architectural diagrams using Visio, Confluence or Lucidcharts * Cloud-based Data Lake experience, preferably AWS * Experience with Amazon Web Services (EC2, VPC, ELB, S3, CloudFormation, etc.) * Understanding of distributed systems and clustering architectures – massive-scale performance with reliability * A strong technical foundation in information systems and databases * Full software development life-cycle experience, with a proven track record of successfully shipping products * Results-oriented, solid work ethic with excellent attention to detail and quality * This is a hands-on position: You must be able to write architectures individually or as part of a team * Excellent verbal and written communication skills The ideal candidate will possess… * SaaS-based application security background, including testing methods * Experience with Linux Containers and/or Docker * Experience with Boomi or MuleSoft application gateways * Experience with The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) helpful Education: * BS. in CS, CE or EE is required * Masters in CS, CE, or EE is preferred It's an exciting time to be at Infoblox.
