Position Description:

This position will support our current and future initiatives providing the United States Secret Service (USSS) with critical IT services. CGI is hiring a hands-on resource with significant knowledge and direct experience supporting DHS USSS' two core missions (Protection and Investigation), as well as a background in information technology. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise and mission understanding to design and deploy IT solutions to help the USSS achieve their objectives.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will join CGI Federal's strategic DHS Account team in a leadership position focused on delivering services, building relationships and designing new solutions to support the USSS, DHS and the greater Federal Law Enforcement Community.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.

  • Direct experience, minimum 10 years, in support of federal law enforcement.

  • Direct experience, minimum 6 years, supporting USSS (or similar DHS component) in a mission-focused position.

  • Direct experience, minimum 4 years, in a leadership position (program, branch, division, etc.).

  • Ability to obtain a USSS EOD clearance.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in lieu of education.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Prior experience supporting a mission-facing information technology program in a leadership position.

  • Understanding of the federal acquisition process.

  • Prior experience and/or development of solution papers/white papers/proposals.

  • Current USSS EOD and/or DOD Secret clearance.

  • Agile experience and/or certification.

  • Understanding and experience with the DHS SELC.

As a Solution Architect, you will proactively lead the collaboration and engagement with research and engineering teams to deliver cutting edge and innovative solutions based on architectural best practices, and drive the solution roadmap within the X1 Platform and other Comcast products. You will work with other architects, product management, research, and engineering to create technical full-stack solutions around voice recognition, deep video semantics, and camera vision to deliver cutting-edge and innovative products to the more than 28 million customers of Comcast and its X1 syndication partners. Core Responsibilities: * Works with the architecture team, engineering, and other functional areas to develop architectural solutions for new and existing products. Presents these architectures to senior architects, engineering, research, and management * Tracks and documents requirements for development projects and enhancements * Keeps abreast of current and future trends, technology and information that will positively affect organizational projects.
