This is an exciting time within our Employer & Consumer organization at Cerner! We're looking to add a Solution Advisor to the CRM business team, and you'll have the opportunity to work hand-in-hand with our Sales team. Cerner partnered with Salesforce in 2018 to create a set of clinically-informed Customer Relationship Management (CRM) solutions extending the HealtheIntent platform. We are in the market and looking for a Solution Advisor (i.e. Solution Engineer) to wow our customers with amazing, engaging demos. You will be responsible for building and maintaining our Salesforce demo orgs, helping us create demo storyboards, and working with our sales teams to best show off the combined power of Cerner and Salesforce. You will also be responsible for providing in-depth solution feature and functionality knowledge during the sales process and serve as the domain and industry expert for the solution. Some of your responsibilities will also include to present scripted and unscripted solution presentations, demonstrating knowledge of solution's features and functionality, and finally you will promote Cerner solutions at industry events, trade shows, regional client meetings and Cerner's annual health conference meeting. Bachelor's degree in Health Care, Health Care Administration or related field, or equivalent, relevant work experience
At least 5 years of experience in Health Care Information Technology project management, sales or consulting work experience or clinical practice using healthcare information technology tools
At least 2 years of experience in solution engineering or sales engineering
At least 3 years of experience with Salesforce
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or related field, or equivalent, relevant work experience
At least 3 years of Salesforce solution engineering experience
Willing to travel up to 30% as needed
Willing to work additional or irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations
Work in accordance with corporate and organizational security policies and procedures, understand personal role in safeguarding corporate and client assets, and take appropriate action to prevent and report any compromises of security within scope of position
Perform other responsibilities as assigned
Must live within 60 miles of a virtually approved city
