This role will allow you to develop your acumen within Solidworks and its myriad 3D technologies through hands-on experience and extensive training opportunities. You will exercise these technical competencies as you engage with clients answering technical questions, troubleshooting, and more.

Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding, real-time technical support for GSC customers via phone, email

  • Update and maintain current customer support database NetSuite

  • Document all customer interactions

  • Provide data on trends during service calls

  • Contribute to the creation of whitepapers, blogs and videos for marketing and informational use

  • Use the following programs daily: NetSuite (CRM), Microsoft Teams and Outlook, SharePoint, ShareFile, GoToResolve

  • Strive for continuous improvement through education, training, and certifications

  • Troubleshoot using SQL

Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience using SOLIDWORKS is a must!

  • 2 or 4 year Mechanical Design or Engineering related degree, or equivalent preferred

  • Prior experience in a software help desk or customer service environment preferred

  • Thorough understanding of computer systems

  • IT skills including CMD commands, Windows permissions, and Windows registry required

  • Knowledge of basic computer hardware

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, and online applications (GoToResolve, ShareFile, etc.)
