Soldering Technician

Techolution is currently seeking a Soldering Technician The ideal candidate will have experience in assembling PCB components per schematics, analyzing circuit diagrams, troubleshooting faults, testing circuits, and updating firmware in microcontrollers. This is a part-time position, and we are looking for a resource who can support on an as-needed basis

Job Description:

• PCB Assembly: Proficiency in assembling components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs) according to schematics and layout files. This includes soldering components onto the PCB using both through-hole and surface mount soldering techniques.

• Circuit Analysis: Ability to read and interpret electronic circuit diagrams and blueprints to understand the functionality and connections of the components on the PCB.

• Debugging: Skilled in troubleshooting and identifying faults in electronic circuits. This involves using various diagnostic tools and techniques to pinpoint and resolve issues efficiently.

• Testing and Validation: Experience in using testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers to validate and test electronic circuits for proper functionality and performance.

• Component Knowledge: Familiarity with a wide range of electronic components including resistors, capacitors, diodes, integrated circuits (ICs), and their specifications. Understanding the characteristics and limitations of different components is crucial for successful PCB assembly and troubleshooting.

• Firmware Flashing: Proficiency in loading and updating firmware in microcontrollers embedded in PCBs. This involves using appropriate tools and software to program the microcontroller with the required firmware to enable desired functionality.
