Solar Field Installer II - Equipment Operator

Position Summary

The Solar Field Installer II is responsible for manual labor and equipment operation for installing footings, racking, and solar panels safely and efficiently. This role includes operating and maintaining various company equipment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Attend pre-shift safety meetings and participate in team activities.

• Move, carry, and set materials, including aggregate and screws.

• Conduct site surveys and ensure installation meets project tolerances.

• Perform daily equipment inspections and preventative maintenance.

• Maintain inventory, clean and prep project sites, and operate light machinery.

• Obtain necessary certifications to operate equipment.

• Uphold company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 1+ year in solar or civil construction and heavy equipment operation.

• Technical Skills: Familiarity with tablets, Google Earth, and blueprint reading.

• Licenses: Valid OSHA 10 and Driver's License required.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 60 lbs.

• Must be able to stand for up to 10 hours and navigate uneven terrain.

Work Conditions:

• Environment: Field conditions.

• Travel: Up to 100%.
