Solar Construction Manager Department : C&I Solar Construction Location: West Coast; Southern California; Orange County & LA County Reports to: Director of Construction A leading renewable energy client of Appleton Finn - that specializes in delivery design-build commercial & industrial (C&I) solar projects across Southern California - is seeking a dedicated Construction Manager to lead the execution of their solar projects.

With a rapidly growing portfolio, the company is committed to expanding clean energy infrastructure while fostering a collaborative, hands-on work environment. Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of solar project construction, from planning to completion, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to coordinate project designs, schedules, and execution strategies.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards at all project sites. Identify and address any project challenges, proactively implementing solutions to keep projects on track. Lead construction activities for community-scale and C&I solar projects, focusing on the East Coast, with travel to project sites.

Contribute to the development of construction processes, standards, and safety plans. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in solar project construction management, with a focus on community-scale or C&I projects. Certified Electrician & 5 years experience managing electrical construction projects.

Experience as a Superintendent or General Foreman for solar and/or electrical projects. Proven ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and with a focus on safety and quality. Experience collaborating with engineering, project management, and external stakeholders.

Familiarity with construction software (e.g., Procore) and OSHA safety certifications. Ability to travel extensively across Southern California
