A successful Solar & Energy Sales Consultant specializing in Whole Home Electrification is a trusted advisor and technical expert, guiding clients toward a sustainable future. You will consistently design and implement comprehensive energy solutions, incorporating solar PV, battery storage, EV chargers, and advanced energy management technologies. Your in-depth knowledge of whole home electrification empowers clients to seamlessly transition to a cleaner, more efficient lifestyle.

Responsibilities of the Solar & Energy Sales Consultant:

  • Drive sales by converting leads into satisfied customers through effective prospecting, presentations, and proposals.
  • Assess property suitability for solar installations, considering factors like roof size, sun exposure, and shading.
  • Manage all aspects of solar projects, from initial contact to customer handover, ensuring seamless execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and compliance with safety regulations and building codes, coordinating with various stakeholders.
  • Design and size solar energy systems, incorporating microinverters, string inverters, battery storage, and EV charger integration.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements and trends in solar technology.

Requirements for the Solar & Energy Sales Consultant:

  • At least 5 years of experience in residential/commercial solar or related fields, with a passion for whole-home electrification.
  • Solid knowledge of emerging technologies (EV charging, bidirectional wiring).
  • Possess a strong understanding of solar battery storage systems, including different battery types, capacities, and their applications in solar energy systems.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and knowledgeable about electrical codes
  • Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets in the energy sector or similar industries.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively explain whole-home electrification benefits.
  • NABCEP certification or equivalent is a plus.
  • Self-motivated team player with strong work ethic
  • Proven experience in accurate and efficient job pricing
  • Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented multitasker with excellent prioritization skills
  • Proficient in typing, desktop applications, and technology
