Join us as a Software Verification/QA Engineer and be a part of our high performance multi-site team for state of the art Bluefield SOC based products. You must possess an understanding and deep interest in testing of Linux and/or embedded Linux system fundamentals, anywhere from low level drivers up through user-space applications. You must understand testing best practices and, ideally, have experience planning and implementing tests in a continuous integration environment. You will collaborate closely with the development team to ensure functionality is properly covered by across test plans. You will interact with other verification and qualification teams to drive industry leading quality of Bluefield software.


  • Create and expand automated test cases and procedures for complete functional and non-functional test coverage across many use cases and different Bluefield based products

  • Develop and implement best practices and tools to improve feature quality and regression tests

  • Design, code, and execute tests to ensure that system requirements are being met

  • Provide technical assistance and collaborate for resolution on issues that occur


  • Demonstrated success in test automation development and deployment for Linux distributions or Linux based products.

  • Demonstrated success in testing strategies for Linux

  • Excellent debugging and problem solving skills in testing embedded Linux based products

  • Self-driven and ability to work across teams

  • Knowledge of IP networking, virtual machine environments and scripting applications

  • Knowledge of software test tools, test methodologies, software life cycle

  • Python and bash shell coding experience

  • 1+ years of experience including test plan and test case development, test automation, and code coverage

  • BS degree or equivalent, engineering degree is preferred

  • Experience with testlink and buildbot is a strong plus

  • Experience testing storage and/or networking products is a very strong plus

  • Experience with Arm processors is a plus

  • Experience testing multiple major Linux distributions is a plus (CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE, etc)

  • Experience with Agile methods is a plus

Develop, code, test, implementation and maintenance of the software for eClinicalWorks' EMR products; Install EMR products including end-to-end development in Visual Basic, .NET, Java, and J2EE(design, coding, bug fixing, installation, maintenance of multiple feature areas); Develop and write computer programs for storing, locating and retrieving data and information; Develop a system that can run within various medical practices or their hosted data center; Develop and support devise module using VB6.0, Java and MySQL as backend and architecture for the next generation of EMR features; Design an application for Target that allows the doctors to manage the patient's charges that they owe to the patient and claim the insurances; Develop an interface for the Planned Parenthood. A scheduled interface reads the images from the GE Ultrasound device and attaches the data with the patient's record in the ECW EMR; Develop Exception Error Report functionality in the ECW EMR that facilitates the doctors to manage the exception images; Develop a project for QRS to integrate the Office Medic EKG device with the ECW EMR; Correct errors by making appropriate changes and then rechecking the program to ensure that the desired results are produced; Conduct trial runs of programs and software applications to be sure they will produce the desired information and that the instructions are correct; Consult with managerial, engineering, and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems, and suggest changes and; Manage user support to improve productivity of EMR systems for customers, including recommending technology and hardware upgrades for optimal use of software solutions; Write or contribute to instructions or manuals to guide end users.
