At Grant Thornton, our professional staff applies traditional, cutting-edge approaches and methods to a variety of analyses. As part of our team, the Senior Associate will utilize various methodologies and models to execute client projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Assist the client in improving the overall user design of multiple software systems developed in house and some COTS products.

Work with a small team to design and build software applications to function across multiple platforms

Produce front-end code and visual comps to create a polished and highly functional user interface with a focus on usability and simplicity of design

Collaborate with end users of software programs, including various medical professionals and office managers, to determine user needs and adapt programming accordingly

Ensure software operates ideally across a range of programs and platforms, including Microsoft and Apple products and various mobile operating systems

Use graphic design software to create branding and logos and incorporate visual elements into programming with the goal of creating a streamlined design and a pleasant but visually simple user interface

Conduct thorough testing of user interfaces in multiple platforms to ensure all designs render correctly and systems function properly, incorporating feedback from actual potential users as well as members of the design team

Solve any design or usability issues that arise and anticipate potential future problems so they can be resolved before they impact users

Meet or exceed targeted billing hours (utilization).

Assist with business development activities, such as proposals, capture, account teams, whitepapers, conferences, and/or other thought leadership materials.

TS/SCI CI Polygraph required.

User Experience Design (UX) experience

Java, JavaScript, C , HTML/CSS experience

Experience with front-end coding and development technologies

Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited college or university in a related field

Ability to obtain and maintain certain job-related certifications if no job-related advanced degrees.

U.S. citizenship may be required. Ability to work in the United States indefinitely required.

Travel may be required.

Coach and mentor junior staff members.

Ability to work overtime required on occasion.

Ability to sit in an office environment for long periods of time.

Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally.

Ability to obtain and maintain firm independence and abide by firm ethics requirements.

Meet or exceed continuing professional education (CPE) requirements.

About the Opportunity DMI (Digital Management, LLC.) is looking for a Role senior UI developer to support our client in the D.C. area. Provide data system support services to maintain the current legacy data systems, as well as develop and maintain a future, integrated data system. Requires full cycle system support services for the data systems, including but not limited to: systems analysis, design, maintenance, and operations; systems administration; database administration; requirements analysis and application development; interface design and development; quality management; software acquisition and implementation; and documentation support. Duties and Responsibilities: * Working with the Client in defining identified "need" or opportunity for system enhancements. * Apply knowledge of full software development life cycle. * Stream mapping and more of business process improvements. * Participate in JAR (Joint application review) sessions with SME and key technical and business resources. * Assist with requirement review and elicitation for identified system bugs. * Research, analyze and assist in the assessment phase of the creation of the Integrated. Data System that merges three existing systems. * Provide quality analysis for survey data. * Disseminate survey data for publication. * Capture and maintain requirements for the integrated Data System and the Metadata Explorer. * Analyze existing processes using tools like 'AS IS – TO BE' analysis, GAP analysis, Value. * Translating business concepts into deliverable business and system specification documents (BRD's, Flow mapping etc.) and requirement analysis and application development. * Identify analyze and provide solutions to new requirements issues and problems arising out of service support tools. * Interface design and development. * Support the full cycle system support services of the data system including systems analysis, design, maintenance and operations. * Contribute to technical analysis session by aligning business values supported by cost benefit examination against assessed risks. * Design UI mock-ups and capture related business rules. * Refine effective support process for continuous improvement and provide innovative solutions to complex business problems. * Provide consulting on internal and external research studies and projects. * Coordinate and track issues resolutions with developers and Client Survey managers. * Create and execute test plans and test cases. * Validate data in custom table tool and create data visualizations using QlikSense. * Quality management, software acquisition and implementations. * Understand the business problems, perform statistical analysis and develop predictive and prescriptive models to address solution requirements.
