We are searching for a resourcefulQA Specialist to join our eCase/FOIA Project Team.We have been a very successful software product company for 30 years and experiencing rapid growth. AINS is the leading provider of Freedom of Information request management software and workflow-driven case management solutions. Our product eCase FOIA ( is a platform to configure and implement a variety of workflow-driven case management applications. We are looking for forward thinkers and critical players who can help us continue our growth.
PLUS: Experience working with FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) functional.
Skills & Experience Requirements
  • 3 years experience in working with .Net Application Quality Assurance and testing.
  • Ability to take ownership of COTS application testing, document with high clarity of understanding.
  • Troubleshooting and problem solving skills with web applications
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Database SQL scripting with SQL Server
  • Great verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and address multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment
  • Attention to detail with the ability to identify inconsistencies and flaws
Roles and

  • Conduct functional and/or integration testing of multiple programs in a web application environment
  • Review output to determine whether or not the test results fulfill the established requirements, and work with customer and project team as a liaison between customers requirement within scope and development team., both orally and in writing, of errors, omissions, and inconsistencies in the programs and/or documentation
Required license or certification:
  • BS Computer Science or related field
  • US Citizen with Active TOP Secret Clearance

Functional Responsibility Identify and define core business processes that drive value and require optimization Collaborate with stakeholders across processes, facilities, locations, units and levels (staff to executive) to gain an understanding of business objectives, facilitate defining measurement solutions and implement business processes and techniques that drive performance Contribute to analyses to create a story with themes that clearly show issues and required actions that will improve performance Recognize data variances and trends, research causal factors and recommend possible solutions Support initiatives that track process adherence and performance to improvement plans, including, but is not limited to, the implementation of KPIs, SLAs and dashboards to monitor process and drive accountability Researches best business practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes Determines how new information technologies can support reengineering business processes Prepare and analyze management and site specific reports Work closely with Business Intelligence/IT to automate standard reporting Complete change management assessments and change management strategies Creating actionable deliverables, such as a communication plan, roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, or resistance management plan Apply strong analytical and technical skills to document findings in accordance with approved quality procedures and standards Participate in development and delivery of reports, dashboards, and other communication to meet the needs of program stakeholders, increase risk awareness, and support decision making Defining and measuring success metrics and monitor change progress Analyze and document functional requirements, business process drawings/flow charts, functional specifications, requirements roadmap Participate in the validation and traceability of functional requirements to functional specifications, system technical specification Support and document revised business processes Position Requirements: Active Top Secret Clearance Five plus years experience with a proven record of success in business process analysis and process improvement initiatives Undergraduate Degree or equivalency Demonstrated facilitation skills and process-driven analytical skills Ability to participate on multiple efforts simultaneously Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management on both the business and IT sides Software Skills: MS Visio, MS Excel, MS Power Point, MS Word Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Working knowledge in process development, business process reengineering, and performance improvement methodologies; Ability to apply process improvement and reengineering methodologies and principles to conduct process modernization projects Proficient experience in process mapping, data analysis and project management; Ability to analyze business and technical processes to formulate and develop new and modified business information processing systems Represent business stakeholders to define functional requirements and business cases for the process improvements and technology developments; Ability to organize data from multiple sources and turn large data sets into meaningful, actionable information Ability to use data visualization to tell a clear and compelling insight; Ability to analyze and interpret complex documents and implementation plans; Provide group facilitation, interviewing, training, and additional forms of knowledge transfer.
