Cox Automotive Enterprise Platforms is seeking a Software Test Engineer II to join our SalesForce.com Quality Engineering team in Atlanta, GA.
Software Test Engineer II will play a key role in developing our Salesforce capabilities for Cox Automotive. To be successful, you will need to be comfortable and effective interfacing with numerous technology groups and business representatives with competing demands. We are looking for a high-energy, inquisitive and passionate Analyst.
Analyze technical and non-technical requirements and translate them into both manual and automatable scenarios.
Apply strong testing best practices to develop test design and approach.
Support building-in quality through software engineering lifecycle
Execute tests, record results in tools (e.g., Quality Center, Rally), create reports/metrics and communicate results to team members.
Execute both manual and automated scenarios, analyze results and take necessary actions.
Assist other team members in whatever is necessary with test design, test approach, testing, story requirement clarification and providing feedback to the development team
Maintain expert level of knowledge in testing best practices.
Support various types of testing including functional, integration, regression, system, performance and user acceptance
Demonstrate a solid understanding of Agile principles and how they apply to testing.
Possess a deep understanding of SalesForce.com (Sales, Service & Marketing Clouds).
Effectively manage individual workload for multiple assignments or projects.
Lead test planning and execution for medium-to-large sized products.
Demonstrate a passion for learning new processes and techniques
Skills & Experience (Minimum):
4-5 years of testing experience
2 years working with SalesForce.com Sales Cloud
2 years working in Agile environments
Demonstrated expertise performing SQL/Data verification testing
Strong understanding of Testing practices
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management or Engineering; or equivalent work experience
What We Look For (Preferred):
Salesforce Admin experience/certifications
Test Automation experience with (i.e. Provar, Selenium, Jenkins, Frameworks)
Java Development experience as it pertains to test automation
Knowledge of Sales, Service and Marketing Domains
Experience working in a mature corporate Quality Engineering function
