As a Software Test Engineer,you will be part of a development team whose mission is to contribute to thecontinuous improvement of our product quality and process efficiency throughthe design, development, and implementation of automated testing and toolingsolutions.
Technology we use:
Consult withdevelopers on software and system design in order to facilitate testautomation.
Create, enhance,extend, and maintain test automation libraries and frameworks
Solve complexautomation challenges and work on complex projects with minimalsupervision.
Design and developautomated unit, functional, regression and performance test programs orscripts based on libraries of re-usable test code modules or functions.
Understand eventdriven, API and other pertinent software architectures and implementindustry standards test strategies.
Develop deepknowledge of systems to see breaking changes.
Design, develop andmaintain supporting Engineering tools
Work with scrumteams to establish and promote best practices, standards and processes forautomation testing.
Train testautomation engineers on proper development of automated tests
Work as a member ofan Agile SCRUM team delivering high quality software in two week sprints
Define and documenttest cases based off of user stories
Participate indesign and code reviews associated with test automation development
Document softwareissues and enhancement requests and assist development with concise anddetailed steps for duplication of the defects found while performingmanual functional, integration, and regression tests
Effectivelyinteract with interfacing organizations and work together as a team todeliver projects on time and on budget
Contribute towardsteam estimation and scheduling process

Work with domainexperts and developers to develop and execute test plans
What We Look For:
Demonstratedprogramming abilities using Java is required
Experience withdesign patterns and OO design as applied to test code and frameworks
Agile softwaredevelopment processes, software QA and testing methodologies
Experience with webapplication test automation tools such as Selenium or Protractor is desirable
JUnit, TestNG,Spock or similar Java unit testing framework experience
Knowledge orexperience with Groovy is highly desirable
Experience withtest-driven, behavior-driven, or acceptance test-driven development isdesirable
Experience usingtools such as Jira, Git, Maven, and Jenkins is desirable
Proficiency withdatabase technologies such as SQL, MySQL, and MongoDB
The ability totroubleshoot and analyze; must be able to dig into issues and problems andescalate or solve them appropriately.
Inclined to work aspart of a highly motivated and innovative engineering team and contributeto the business, technical and operational goals of the company.
Excellent teamwork,time management, and communication skills are a must.
Ability tounderstand and test event driven architectures.
Ability to workwith customers to develop and execute automated test plans.
Ability to lead andmentor members of the QA team
Strong programmingskills in Java or comparable language
Knowledge of the
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Desire and abilityto learn new skills and improve upon current skills
Ability tocomprehend complexity, to fully understand a product with all of itsbusiness and technological implications, and to approach the improvementof its quality from that perspective
