About the Role

Are you an early career or entry-level Test Engineer looking to work on the bleeding edge of AI hardware technology? ZT Systems is seeking a motivated individual to join our team and help develop and execute test plans and scripts to verify product functionality and ensure our cutting-edge products' quality and reliability.

As a Software Test Development Engineer, you will work at the forefront of AI cloud computing and hyperscale technology and storage solutions, building innovative solutions to continuously identify and aid in debugging, identifying root causes, and resolving issues as they occur. You will stay up-to-date with the latest AI computing technologies and storage solutions and ensure code quality, performance, and software maintainability.

What You Will Do:

o Develop and execute test plans, test cases, automated test scripts, and wrapper tools to ensure the quality and reliability of our systems.

o Utilize command-line interfaces in Linux or Windows for system debugging and issue resolution.

o Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

o Analyze system performance and reliability, providing valuable insights to improve product functionality.

o Conduct thorough testing of hardware components, software applications, and operating systems to identify and resolve defects.

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software test strategies for cutting-edge hardware infrastructure.

o Work closely with hardware and software engineers to understand system architecture and interconnects in a cloud server environment. :

o Stay updated on industry standards related to software testing and hardware designs.

o Enhance understanding of hardware designs for effective testing processes.

What You Will Bring:

o BS degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

o 5+ years relevant experience in the field

o Strong understanding of hardware, software, and operating system fundamentals.

o Good knowledge of the interconnects of components on a cloud server.

o Ability to debug the health of a system using command-line interfaces in Linux or Windows.

o Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues with limited documentation.

o Strong programming ability (e.g., Python, Perl, C++).

o Familiarity with Generative AI frameworks and technologies.

o Strong analytical skills for problem-solving and troubleshooting.

o Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively within a collaborative team environment.
