Service Express's IT team is charged with designing, developing, delivering and operating internal and external facing digital products that allow Service Express to deliver its amazing customer service and reliability to our customers. The IT Service Desk team is responsible for the front-line support of these mission critical products on a daily basis.

In this role, you will primarily work as a Product Support Specialist focused on our software products. You will collaborate with software developers, business leaders and end users to troubleshoot, support and deliver solutions to their operational issues. You will be a part of a team that focuses on providing world class support and service to our team members while working hard to grow your technical and career skills.

Position Responsibilities

  • Focused on customer service and exceeding user/customer expectations

  • Excited and energized to help people and solve problems effectively

  • Quick to think on your feet and enjoy making an impact on other's daily lives

  • Experienced with some software development and basic Database SQL ability

  • One to have fun while still ensuring everything is in order

  • Highly organized and can easily adapt to change

  • Help execute our support for our critical line of business applications

  • Interact with Product Team members and leaders to ensure a positive customer experience

  • Troubleshoot issues across the whole software stack Database, Front-End, Back-End and APIs

  • Write and deploy code to production environments

  • Responsible for knowing our digital ecosystem and it's dependencies

  • Working with the team to cover On-Call Rotation

Minimum Requirements

  • 1-2 years of professional experience in IT, software development, SQL, or other related technology fields

  • A "never stop learning" mentality and can apply it daily

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Has a can-do attitude

  • An ability to learn tools and processes quickly

  • A large desire to learn and grow, personally and professionally

JOB SUMMARY: The primary focus of the At-Risk Student and Family Support Specialist is to provide intervention for identified at-risk students, assist those students in reaching proficiency, and empower the families to support their children's success in school. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Essential functions under the Americans with Disabilities Act may include any of the following duties, knowledge and skills. Other essential functions may include, but are not limited to the following: JOB FUNCTIONS: * Work with multiple 31a identified at-risk students * Assist with team approach (with students, family, teacher, specialist, principal) to assess individual at-risk student and initiate appropriate intervention plan * Consult with the School's Student Support Team regarding the identified at-risk students * Assist identified students and their families in developing problem solving skills * Encourage and work intensively with identified students and their families to alternative interventionist and appropriate human service agencies * Develop positive relationships with students, staff and parents * Work on special afterschool projects for at-risk students * Participate in conferences with identified students and parents * Visits with identified students referred by the building principals for assistance and help resolve problems This description is intended to describe the type and level of work performed by a person assigned to this position. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS * Post-secondary course work and experience in education, criminal justice, social work and/or human services, preferred. * Bachelor's degree (preferred). * Experience in working with at-risk students and families, required. * Ability to effectively function as a professional team member. * Strong organizational skills and aptitude for detail work. * Possess a high level of communication skills (written and oral). * Ability to deal with the multiplicity of an urban community population. * Ability to transport students and families when needed. * Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
