Key Qualifications

• 5+ years leading security/software teams

• Excellent skills for coaching team members and fostering partnerships

• Experienced leading engineering teams that deliver security services at scale

• Experience in Python, Java, or Go

• Preferred: experience with PKI, TPMs, other software/hardware security solutions, or identity aware auth proxies

• Track record of shipping customer-facing services or products

Description

Our team cares deeply about providing Apple's customers with the highest standard in security and privacy on our products. We build large-scale systems that automate vulnerability discovery in Apple software and we build public-facing systems to collaborate with external security teams. This role is a manager role for a security software engineering team tasked with making these systems highly reliable while scaling to the needs of our customers' 1B+ devices. In particular, this team focuses on continually bringing the state of the art in security technology and practice to the complex internal build process for iOS.

Pay & Benefits

• At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $183,400.00 and $316,900.00, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
