The following position is to join our RTX Corporate, Enterprise Services, Research Center or BBN team: RTX Platform Services team has an opening for a Software Release Manager (Principal Specialist, Business Systems and Transformation) that aids in ensuring the team is successful in all production change and deployment automation requests.

Remote Opportunity. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Lead coordination aspects of making production changes that include prepare and maintain monthly release cycle schedules.

Lead the production Change Control Board (CCB). Prepare relevant materials, collect and report metrics. Ensure documentation is in place for Sarbanes-Oxley (SoX) audit. Act as a facilitator for a daily standup on release automation related activities.

Additional release automation activities such as service account management and assist others in working through issues. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and on-call as needed. QUALFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:

Typically 8 years’ in the digital technology arena around production change and automation requests and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination or related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree; Advanced degree and 5 years’ related work experience. 3 years’ experience with one or more source code management tools (Git, Subversion, Team Foundation Server) 2 years’ experience with ticketing systems such as JIRA Current U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contrac t QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) or similar software Attention to detail and problem-solving skills General server administration skills (Windows and/or Linux) Office/Microsoft 365 and Azure implementation and management experience Experience with source control management systems like TFS, ADO, SVN with continuous integration/deployment Experience with SQL 2012 or higher Experience with T-SQL and SQL Server database technologies Knowledge of .Net 4.5 Framework and higher Understanding of the latest Web Technologies Experience and understanding of Scrum Development Methodology Basic SQL Server admin such as backing up/restoring database instances Use of Team Foundation Server Experience / understanding of reporting services Excellent organization skills and project tracking capabilities Ability to work evenings, weekends, and on-call as needed Amazon Web Services implementation and management experience a plus VMware Cloud services Experience scripting with PowerShell Simplified sign-on and authentication/authorization techniques and best practices Unix/Linux server and platform administration Typically a bachelors Computer Science, Technology Engineering, or Mathematics or related discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience in lieu of degree. The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply. RTX anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted.
