Responsibilities

The Keysight EDA organization has an exciting opportunity for an Operating Manager position in our EDA team. Keysight Technologies is a global leader in electronic design, simulation, prototyping, test, manufacturing, and optimization. Our Device Modeling Group focuses on cutting-edge software solutions for semiconductor device modeling and characterization. Our products include IC-CAP, WaferPro Express, MBP, MQA, and A-LFNA.

In this role, you will lead a dynamic team of engineers and scientists dedicated to advancing our modeling software solutions. Your primary focus will be on managing a high-performance team, driving innovation, ensuring product quality, and meeting customer expectations. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver state-of-the-art solutions to our customers.

• Product Development Leadership:

• Lead and inspire a team of software engineers and domain experts.

• Define the product roadmap, aligning it with business goals and customer needs.

• Oversee the development of modeling software enhancements and new features.

• Technical Excellence:

• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape.

• Foster a culture of technical excellence, encouraging creativity and problem-solving.

• Collaborate with the team to improve existing products and explore new possibilities.

• Quality Assurance and Compliance:

• Ensure rigorous testing, validation, and adherence to industry standards.

• Work closely with regulatory bodies to meet compliance requirements.

• Engage with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and sales.

• Communicate progress, challenges, and opportunities to senior leadership.

• People Development:

• Mentor and develop team members, fostering their growth and career progression.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

• Proven track record in agile software development.

• At least 5 years of experience in C++ and Python coding.

• Semiconductor primitive device and circuit knowledge.

• Leadership experience, managing teams and driving successful projects.

• Strong technical acumen, with expertise in software architecture and design.

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

• Passion for cutting-edge CMOS, III-V and more than Moore technologies and its impact on the industry.

• Familiarity with RF and microwave technologies, PDK designs, CMC Compact Models, Semiconductor characterization, Simulation technologies, Verilog-A, SPICE simulators and Foundry technologies is a plus.

• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevSecOps will be beneficial.

Pay Salary Range: MIN $153,000 - MAX $255,000.00

Pay is based on experience, education and skills, most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed above.
