Software Quality Engineer I

We are searching for a Software Quality Engineer I in our Advanced Systems & Technologies (AS&T) division, located in Plano,TX

This position will be responsible for applying, and maintaining standards for systems and software quality operating methods, processes, systems and procedures. This position will be responsible for maintaining SQE efforts to support successful execution of AS&T defense industry programs.
You will demonstrate success by:
Prepares software product and process quality reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Prepare presentations for Corrective action and Leadership team meetings.
Support programs with data collection and analysis of inspection, test results, and failures.
Review software design, change specifications, and plans against contractual and or process requirements.
Serve as a contributing member of an Integrated Program Team to design, test, and implement software products.
Perform traceability analysis on requirements and defect resolutions to test procedures and results.
Participate in CCB and Defect Reviews to track and trend software defects through resolution.
Collaborate with Software Engineering and Software Configuration Management to continually improve on software processes and methods.
Assess and ensure that project and processes are compliant with requirements, objectives and/or contracts.
Conduct software inspection, testing, verification and validation.
Interface with personnel from individual programs to apply software engineering principles to the evaluation and solution of technical software problems or design issues to improve quality or performance.
Adhere to established software development and maintenance processes and methods.
Identify and develop software quality improvement initiatives.

Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain DoD secret clearance ; must be able to obtain additional clearances as required
Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar technical field.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products

Physical requirements include the ability to travel up to 20% and to lift up to 20 lbs.
