Software Quality Compliance Specialist

Position Overview:

eClinicalWorks' Software Quality Compliance Specialist is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of an effective and comprehensive compliance program at eClinicalWorks with a focus on software quality. The Software Quality Compliance Specialist will be responsible for meeting eClinicalWorks' obligations and requirements under its Corporate Integrity Agreement with the Office of Inspector General of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in connection with implementing the recommendations of eClinicalWorks' software quality oversight organization by working with eClinicalWorks' departments and divisions and their leadership.

Duties and responsibilities:

Support the Compliance Officer in implementing and maintaining the recommendations of eClinicalWorks' software quality oversight organization under eClinicalWorks' Corporate Integrity Agreement.

Meet and collaborate with eClinicalWorks' departments and divisions responsible for reviewing, implementing and managing recommendations of the software quality oversight organization for purposes of ensuring effective implementation of recommendations received.

Maintain ongoing documentation to track the progress toward fulfillment of the recommendations of the software quality oversight organization.

Prepare and present reports to the Compliance Officer and top management regarding the foregoing responsibilities and work with the Compliance Officer and top management at eClinicalWorks to develop plans as well as responses to reports of the software quality oversight organization.

Assist the Compliance Department with daily compliance program responsibilities.

Ensures writing assignments meet standards of order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.

Requirements Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Excellent written and oral presentation skills

Demonstrated regulatory writing skills.


Bachelor's degree

Compliance department experience strongly preferred

VIEW JOBS 9/11/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-12-10T00:00 PRIMARY PURPOSE: The Transportation Compliance Specialist reports directly to the Director of Compliance and is responsible for insuring regional activities involving transportation is conducted in strict compliance with all applicable federal, state and local requirements. Additionally, this position is responsible for providing field level assistance in the form of announced and unannounced inspections, focused training, accident and incident investigation and regulatory guidance and support. The essential elements of this position include, but are not limited to: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: * Provide technical support on transportation and safety related issues to operations, sales and shared services. * Develop and maintain a good relationship with federal, state and local regulatory agencies in the USA. * Conduct announced and unannounced inspections at USS facilities and branch locations to review compliance related operational components that include but are not limited to vehicle maintenance files, driver files, transportation related permits/authorities, equipment readiness, driver vehicle inspection reports, time keeping records, and other related transportation records & equipment. * Prepare and assist facilities and branch locations for audits and inspections (e.g. US DOT Compliance Reviews, State DOT Compliance Reviews, California BIT inspection). * Assist field based operations personnel with the interpretation and implementation of policies and procedures relative to transportation compliance. * Assist Corporate Safety & Compliance Department with issues and questions relating to driver, vehicle & facility transportation issues. * Participate in the incident/accident investigations when applicable. * Assist in the development and delivery of transportation related training programs. * Provide expertise if the interpretation of federal, state, local and & company transportation related regulations and policies. * Partner with and support Safety Organization EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: * Bachelor of Arts or Science (Transportation, Logistics, Environmental Science, or comparable area of emphasis) or a college diploma in a related field including law enforcement. * 1-3 years of compliance experience COMPETENCIES: * Knowledge of federal and state transportation regulations and standards * Excellent communications, writing and presentation skills. Strong ability to investigate and assess transportation and safety incidents. * Excellent organizational skills and an ability to work independently and in teams. * Performs other duties as assigned by management.
