As the automation technical leader, you will be responsible for creating, implementing and supporting automated productivity tools for internal and external web applications, web services, Windows clients, and database validations. This encompasses all functional and non-functional aspects of automation products or services, as well as adherence to governance and best-practice recommendations from the Automation technical community. The architect works closely with the automation manager to evolve the tools experience for both the automation team and the user teams.
Experience working in a fast-paced, forward-looking environment that embraces Agile Scrum development practices is essential. Encouraging and modeling excellence in software design and development practices are essential and mentoring junior colleagues in these regards is expected.
Participate in the development, communication and facilitation of Enterprise Architecture Governance processes.
Develop and communicate enterprise automation technology standards and policies.
Research and select technology solutions to address emerging business needs.
Mentor colleagues in the art of exceptional automation software design, patterns and practices.
Identify architectural risks and propose alternatives and solutions.
Ensure that significant architectural decisions are reviewed and documented.
Ensure adherence to architectural and governance standards and practices.
Maintains a broad knowledge of emergent trends in software development platforms, tools, methodologies and their underlying principles.
Builds and implements a scalable, reusable automation framework. Works with team to set appropriate standards for usage of the framework and trains quality assurance personnel to enable them to use it.
Works closely with quality assurance team to help them develop, maintain and execute automated test scripts, using the provided automation framework, writing test scripts when applicable.
Develop innovative approaches to accommodate tight schedules and resource constraints using automation, automation assist, and disposable scripts.
Leads automation team members (both onshore and offshore) on day-to-day operations.
Works with application teams to review existing test cases in order to convert or create automated tests cases.
Supports nThrive's Compliance Program by adhering to policies and procedures pertaining to HIPAA, FDCPA, FCRA, and other laws applicable to nThrive's business practices. This includes: becoming familiar with nThrive's Code of Ethics, attending training as required, notifying management or nThrive's Helpline when there is a compliance concern or incident, HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information, and demonstrable awareness of confidentiality obligations.
High School Diploma or GED.
12+ years software development experience.
8+ years test automation framework development experience.
Expertise in Enterprise automation design, to include availability, scalability, maintainability, extensibility, supportability and security in a .NET/Windows environment.
Hands-on experience with web testing tools (preferably Selenium WebDriver or TestComplete) and relational databases at the programming level.
Experience creating, automating, or programmatically testing web services for REST and SOAP, using an industry accepted services testing tool such as SOAPUI and using load testing tools.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to mentor team members and educate others on automation principles.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Automated Testing Continuous Integration.
Practical experience with Azure or AWS PaaS.
Test Driven Development (TDD).
Experienced with Web/Windows based N-tier database applications.
Healthcare domain knowledge desirable, specifically in the areas of Patient Accounting, HIM, Revenue Cycle and IT integration.
