Become an integral part of a diverse team in the Mission, Cyber and Intelligence Solutions (MCIS) Group. Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, mission oriented Software Quality Assurance (QA) Test Engineer, in the Chantilly, VA area, with strong Customer relationships. The IOS Division provides mission solutions to a wide range of Defense and Intelligence Community customers. This division consists of a team of technical leaders that deliver advanced technical solutions to government organizations.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Review requirements, specifications, scope, and documentation to gain a thorough understanding of the programs.
Ensure the quality of the software adheres to the user requirements and usability, generate test scripts to verify the user requirements, modify software test scenarios as needed, perform analysis of test results and report non-conformity and quality issues.
Identify software quality issues, coordinate with system developers to resolve defects.
Create and report testing metrics to project management in order to assess stability and status of all testing activities.
Assist with configuration management tasks on a project (test scripts, coordination of requirement changes) as required.
Analyze release scope, provide estimates, ensure requirement traceability, perform product testing and create test reports.
Perform functional testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing, and security patch testing.
Create and run SQL queries for data validation, analyze software testing automation tools, create and run automated test scripts.
Security Clearance Requirement:
Active/current TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance is required.
Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology and 3+ years of experience; Masters and 1+ year of experience
Attention to detail on analyzing software requirements, understanding business scope, envisioning user workflows, and drive to break the code to ensure the delivery of a quality product
Experience performing UI testing, database testing and creating test documentation
Adhere to team priorities and work collaboratively with the development and testing teams
Ability to work independently and systematically
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Testing software deployed in an AWS, C2S or cloud environment
Willingness to learn and perform code analysis, develop test automation scripts to execute and improve the efficiency of software testing
Experience working with SQL Server, Microsoft Test Manager, Windows operating systems (Windows 7, Windows Server 2012)
Knowledge of virtual computing environment (VMware), Team Foundation Server 2015
Experience in agile scrum development environment, testing weekly builds and full regression testing for production releases
Equivalent Experience/Education, Bachelor's Degree
