This senior level resource will develop and execute a comprehensive Test Strategy for a SAP implementation to retire the legacy ERP system within a large financial services organization. The purpose of this role is to ensure the new processes and design of the organizations core financial components (i.e. General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Fixed Assets) meet the requirements defined by the business and have achieved the business goals of streamlining our reporting processes and enhancing our governance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a test team to successfully deliver a quality SAP S/4 HANA implementation leveraging industry best practices
  • Manage testing activities such as functional, integration (30+ systems), data migration with (legacy ERP to SAP S/4 HANA) to ensure data integrity and no loss of data, end to end, automation, performance and regression( for quarterly or other project releases)
  • Create and execute automated and performance testing strategy leveraging outsourced team.
  • Drive increasing efficiency and effectiveness of team resources, processes, and tools including onshore and offshore supplier resources
  • On time and on budget QA delivery according to overall QA project plan
  • Detailed and measurable team specific work plans, status reports, and WIRID (risk, issue decision) items that align to guidelines from PM and drive team reporting
  • Adherence to TFS quality processes, procedures and standards
  • Effective and consistent representation of QA team, standards and procedures across ERP Program
  • 8-10 years of experience leading all phases of QA effort required to execute large SAP implementations
  • Experience leading testing efforts under the SAP Activate or similar methodology
  • Experience managing an outsourced testing engagement on SAP S/4 HANA system and business processes including O2C, P2P, GL Accounting
  • Experience implementing and leveraging SAP test automation tools
  • Experience working in Scrum- Agile teams
  • Identifying and analyzing quality risks
  • Determining testing scope using risk-based testing approach
  • Ability to react to changing project plans and come up with creative alternatives
  • Preparing, managing time estimates and fixed bid deliverables (SOW)
  • Reviewing supplier deliverables and providing feedback and direction
  • Assessing Risk to schedule, cost, or quality on project and testing engagement
  • Preparing and managing the project testing schedule
  • Preparing and facilitating the implementation of test plans
  • Defect Management and Analysis
  • Excellent communication (written, verbal)
  • Organizational, planning, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team-oriented environment
  • Experience with any of the following would be a plus:
  • Familiar with SAP test Automation Tools (Worksoft, Tricentis, or similar)
  • Familiar with test automation for clouds implementations
  • Data Compare Tool (Informatica DVO or similar)
  • Test Data Management Tool (i.e. Informatica TDM or similar)
  • Finance Services experience
  • Knowledge / Experience in use of HP Testing Tools (Quality Center 12.55, Unified Functional Test (UFT 12.52), Performance Center 12.52), SOAPUI, or other similar QA tools
