Responsibilities

Create automation tests to increase automation test coverage across the platform. Code Review automation tests by other Test Engineers/Developers.

Collaborate with scrum team and all other stakeholders during all stages in the developmentprocess. Influence acceptance criteria for new features by guiding the team to focus on usability,performance, security and scalability. Action oriented - able to split large ambiguous problems into sub-tasks; drives self and teamtowards solutions.

Strong decision making on design and quality issues. Hands-on with design reviews and code reviews for automated testing. Establish and review metrics for test practices and environments; recommend improvementsbased on results.

Participate in continuous improvement reviews of defects / issues. Contribute to the team in testing related growth and development. Take ownership of the CashStar Platform and pursue continuous learning. Have a chance to enable teams to ship code dailyyes, daily

Qualifications

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent. 3+ years of relevant QA experience. 3+ years of experience with Test Automation.

Familiarity with Python, Selenium Solid SQL Skills Strong Web Based Testing Strong knowledge of Test Automation tools and practices. Experience working in Agile teams.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Significant experience with database technologies (primarily MySQL). Action oriented.

The successful candidate must have knowledge and experience with large-scale OLTP from multiple perspectives: database, compute, information, performance, storage, network, process, flow, integration, security, application and must be able to lead in the creation of a new version of a product that is being built from the ground up while allowing for clients with the older version to easily migrate to the new one. This position will provide vision, leadership and strategy as well as actively participate in the design, implementation and subsequent operations. Responsibilities * Participate at all levels of software development lifecycle such as (standard waterfall and/or agile software methods) * Participate in software designs as it pertains to layered architecture (such as service oriented architecture) * Create flexible and sound technical solutions that center around reusability * Participate in database logical and physical design and implementation * Participate in the creation and enforcement of designs, programming and testing standards * Design and develop using industry standard object oriented methods * Develop program objects using ASP.net, C#, T-SQL (procedures, trigger, and functions), web services * Create comprehensive test plans, test cases and test solutions * Implement Test Drive Development (TDD) methodologies * Prepare extensive electronic or written documentation that includes but not limited to; functional specifications, technical designs documents, technical user guides, installation guides, implementation guides, testing guides, etc. * Mentor other engineers on the software development/engineering practices * Participate in functional and technical presentations to MSA employees, prospects and customers Required Skills * Requires a four-year degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, Computer/Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience * Minimum five years of experience in systems analysis and programming, addressing unique issues of architecture and data management * Must have the experience to begin working at the highest technical level of all phases of systems analysis and programming activity across the full scope of software development cycle * Qualified candidates will have previous development experience with C# * Experience at programmatically interfacing with a relational database management system.
