As a Software Manager within PNC's Retail MIS Product/Platform, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Strongsville, OH.

This position also offers the opportunity to work remotely from home.

In this role you will lead the technical improvement initiatives of our Retail Banking System of Reference platform from ideation to maintenance and documentation. Such roles encompass platform innovation, architecture and technical support. Current environment consists of several Kafka technologies, MySQL, MongoDB, Oracle, Informatica ETL, MQ, and microservices using spring boot on OpenShift.

Successful candidates will have the following

1.Java Development

2.Spring boot

3.Microservices API development

4.Rest API development

5.ETL Development

6.Kafka streaming application development

7.Database DDL/SQL

8.DevOps practices and tooling

9.Experience with Kubernetes or Docker is a plus.



  1. Experience with Queuing tools is a plus

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience. At least 3 years of prior management experience is typically required.
