As a Project Manager for EdAssist you will be responsible for providing overall direction, coordination, execution and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with EdAssist methodology and goals. In addition to partnering with the consulting team that will consult on best practices for configuring the EdAssist Solutions your responsibilities will include project coordination, consulting, managing project resources, project management duties including time management, resource management, and client relationship management. You will be a trusted advisor for client projects and an internal partner with other department leaders to ensure the overall success of our project delivery!

What you will be doing:

  • Drives all project-related activities for assigned clients/projects with attention to efficiency, timing and superior service to the client and/or intended audience.

  • Manages the project communications and processes to ensure successful outcomes and aligned expectations. Produces consistent high level communications to internal and external stakeholders on project status, risks, and changes recommended. Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely and constructive manner.

  • Executes on the project delivery processes and methodology to support total quality of project deliverables.

  • Estimates time frames, quality and quantity of resources required to successfully implement the project; develops the project plan incorporating all project variables and facilitates completion of client change orders, as required.

  • Navigates project changes effectively, removes barriers and coordinates with a variety of cross-functional project team members. Follows the change control process.

  • Partners with the PS Operations team to manage, track, and optimize the resource management needs across their projects.

  • Supports knowledge sharing within and across projects. Facilitates the proper archiving and accessibility of the project deliverables with the consulting delivery team.

  • Assesses and minimizes business exposure and risk on project. Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree, ideally in business or operations. Master's Degree preferred.

  • 3+ years of experience as a project manager or as a consultant leading project teams.

  • Prior experience working effectively and collaboratively in a fast paced environment across other functions including sales, account management, employee services, finance, IT, HR, and marketing.

  • Overnight travel as required for client and organizational meetings (approximately 25%).

  • Passionate regarding helping adult learners improve their education and skills, strongly preferred!

Responsibilities * Participate in project and business development for key municipalities and transportation agencies, private development firms, and healthcare and higher educational institutions within New England * Work directly with client points of contact * Independently execute project scope, schedule/budget, and the development of project deliverables * Conduct multimodal transportation analyses with the ability to focus on complex urban settings, municipal centers, and institutional campuses * Assist in the preparation of corridor and intersection planning studies and master plans, particularly as it relates to the development of Complete Streets alternatives * Lead defined project teams that would include combinations of mid-level and junior level staff Skills/Abilities * Strong writing and communication skills * Ability to problem solve and think creatively * Ability to manage multiple assignments and mentor junior staff * Strong leadership skills * MS Office suite * Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suites products preferred * Data management and GIS experience is preferred Qualifications * BS in Civil/Transportation Engineering, Urban Planning or related field; MS preferred * 7+ years of professional transportation planning experience * Experience managing transportation planning projects * Candidates with PE, PTOE and/or AICP certifications are preferred Please submit applications online.
