Responsibilities

The Software Implementation Manager is responsible for the internal & customer project portfolio associated with external software applications. Plans, directs, and ensures the successful management of projects utilizing the complete resources of the Implementation department and assigned project teams. Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing methods and procedures that are efficient, effective and meet good business practice.

  • Responsible for customer issue escalations and addressing incidents of customer dissatisfaction with a timely resolution.

  • Takes ownership and delivery responsibility for special projects and company initiatives.

  • Involved in sales presentations and the determination of software/service quotes.

  • Assumes a leadership role in education the business and technical community on project and program management processes and areas of expertise.

  • Coordinates with other departments to develop company process and procedures around external software and implementation and ensures that all client expectations are met, and that standards are adhered to.

  • Manages the performance of direct reports by developing accountabilities, establishing performance objectives, providing career counseling, feedback and guidance and ensuring that all policies are understood and adhered to.

  • Performs other duties as directed.

Qualifications

University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelors degree) in Information System Management, Computer Science, or a related discipline plus generally six years of experience in project management with three years of software implementation experience.Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Experience with project management software packages.Strong technical background including: basic database principles, Microsoft technologies, system analysis and design, ERP, software configuration and application troubleshooting.Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
