Opportunity to join a new team dedicated to building state-of-the-art contact center services. As an experienced member of our Software Engineering Group, you'll join a dedicated group of developers tasked with developing real-time voice streaming to the public cloud to be used for future customer centric applications. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • Expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines.

  • Advanced knowledge of architecture, design across all systems.

  • Proficiency in multiple modern programming languages: Java, C++.

  • Knowledge of industry-wide technology trends and best practices.

  • Keen understanding of financial control and budget management.

  • Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture.


  • Minimum of 7 years' experience working on Java Frameworks
  • Springboot, Python
  • Minimum 2 years' experience with cloud-based technologies
  • Kubernetes, AWS, Google, etc.
  • Experience with Big Data Frameworks/Messaging Technologies
  • Kafka.
  • Prior Experience with industry-standard tools
  • Jenkins, Jules, Junit, Maven, GIT.
  • Understanding of VoIP transport such as SIP, SIPREC, RTP, SRTP/DTLS (Unix, Linux).

  • Detailed understanding of system development lifecycle, infrastructure best practices, and risk management concepts.

  • Strong drive and ability to learn and apply new/emerging technologies coupled with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Serve as a Technical Lead, performing code reviews, and mentoring less experienced developers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with modern software development practices
  • TDD, Pair Programming.
  • Have developed applications in the media plan working directly with protocols such as RTP, SRTP, and DTLS.

  • Knowledge of Session Border Controllers (Sonus/Ribbon).

  • Familiarity building applications that use statistical or machine-learning models.

The Operations Technology (OPT) organization provides technology support to all Consumer Bank lines of business within JPMorgan Chase. The incumbent will be a Software Engineering Executive Director leading a team in OPT responsible for building and supporting contact center voice platforms. These platforms are shared firm wide across all groups including Retail and Business Banking, Home Lending, Auto Lending, Consumer Card, Commercial Card, US Wealth Management, and internal call centers. You will lead all aspects of the development life cycle and will be expected to work directly with other members of the technology solutions, project management, architecture, and business teams. You will be responsible for directing and coordinating the activities of a technical team on specific efforts to drive project deliverables. As a Software Engineering Executive Director, you will be responsible for ensuring your teams adhere to IT corporate standards and achieve project and budget goals. Strong client relationship building and networking skills are required to develop relationships with IT Project Delivery, Execution Delivery and Production Support and external vendors.
