In one sentence

As a Software Development Specialist, you will join the R&D team to develop digital software systems using cutting edge technologies and experience end to end software development lifecycle.

What will your job look like?

  • You will design, develop, modify, debug and/or maintain software code according to functional, non-functional and technical design specifications.

  • Your scope of work will include research, design, coding, testing by working in Agile development methodology.

  • You'll be working on developing Microservices & related software systems.

  • You will take ownership and accountability of specific modules within an application and provides technical support and guidance during solution design.

  • You will ensure code is maintainable, scalable , supportable and demo the software products to stakeholders

  • You will investigate issues by reviewing/debugging code, provides fixes and workarounds, and review changes for operability & maintainability

  • You will be encouraged to actively look for innovation and continuous improvement, efficiency in all assigned tasks.

  • You will represent/lead discussions related to product/application/modules/team (for example, leads technical design reviews)

  • You will highlight risks and will help mitigate risks from technical aspects.

All you need is...

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science or equivalent discipline

  • 3+ years of Java Spring & related Java Programming experience

  • Knowledge of Shell Scripts & Linux Operating System

  • 2+ years of extensive experience in developing APIs and Restful services

  • Knowledge of Containers (e.g. Docker) & Container Management Systems (e.g. Kubernetes, OpenShift)

  • 2+ years of experience with CI/CD and Agile development best practices

  • 1+ years of experience with UI technologies such as React/Redux, AngularJS etc.
