We are currently seeking highly motivated Software Engineering Senior Manager with technical leadership to join our Aegis Display System (ADS) team. This is a full-time on-site position located in Moorestown, NJ.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for overall leadership of the Aegis Display System (ADS) product including functional engineering managers ensuring organization meets all applicable business commitments (technical, cost, schedule, training, etc.)
- Ensure Display engineering products and services provided to Line of Business programs are highest quality, satisfying cost, schedule, and technical commitments
- Carrying out the vision of the Director of Engineering
- Effectively communicating operating philosophy, objectives, and expectations to staff
- Responsible for technical customer interface and communication for Display product
- Actively seek new business opportunities with existing customer as well as preparing organization technically for future Navy ICS initiatives
- Developing/presenting formal presentations for the customer and internal management
- Drives compliance with Agile Software Development Procedure/Process and associated business rhythm
- Provides timely and accurate projections of Engineering resource requirements (people, tools, processes)
- Conduct staffing and manpower planning to support current and anticipated projects, including interviewing and hiring personnel as required
- Define, communicate, and coordinate staffing priorities as well as funding requirements with the appropriate project stakeholders
- Works closely with Engineering Managers to identify and secure appropriate staffing
- Develop the long-term vision for people, process, tools, capabilities, and technology
- Responsible for hiring and developing technical staff required to execute programs to meet business commitments
- Responsible for career development and technical readiness of the engineering workforce; reviewing and approving all performance assessments.
- Must have US Citizenship in order to obtain and maintain a government secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or Physics, with technical management experience) or equivalent related work experience. A master's degree in an engineering discipline or math is strongly preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of related work experience is required.
- Experience working in Agile Software Development Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
- Strong communication skills are needed to interface with internal stakeholders and high-level customer representatives
