Hewlett Packard Enterprise is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineering Intern to support the Build &Test Infrastructure Team in the Fort Collins, Colorado office. The Build & Test Infrastructure Team provides build, testing, release, quality analysis and support for the HPE OneView programs.

Roles/Responsibilities:

As an Intern for the Build and Test Infrastructure team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to process automation for the continuous integration pipeline for HPE's OneView product in a large scale data center environment. You will be exposed to many aspects of a DevOps team learning python scripting and github.

Education/Requirements:

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.

  • Experience with programming is required.

  • Knowledge of Python scripting and Github is a plus.

  • 3rd Year of University completed--typically a technical degree specialization.

Analog Devices in Golden Colorado is seeking an intern to work with a team of scientists and engineers to test and develop liquid-crystal waveguide (LCW) devices. In an LCW, an optical waveguide is coated in liquid crystal material to form a non-mechanical laser beam steerer used for light detection and ranging (LiDAR). The successful candidate will be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This internship will focus primarily on evaluation and design of a set of optical elements for shaping infrared laser light before and after the LCW device. Principal Job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: Assembly of liquid-crystal devices and waveguides Set up and calibration of testing apparatus Characterization of prototype devices Analysis of data and comparison with device requirements Report preparation and presentation of data to technical staff Qualifications: High school degree with basic science and math Basic computer skills including MS Office and data plotting Software. Clear writing and good lab book discipline Desired Skills: Experience with performing measurements in an optical benchtop environment SolidWorks computer aided design software For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
