Job Description

CACI has an immediate need for a Software Engineer/Applications Developer to collaborate with the technology development team at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. If you are looking to be a part a critical product team to develop new features and refactor existing features on an existing product, CACI would like to speak with you.

What You'll Get to Do:

  • Collaborate with the technology development team on the level of effort required for solutions, to include planning, test readiness levels, and project scheduling

  • Provide expertise in assessing and /or developing new technologies that are in line with current capability gaps

  • Provide expertise on technology, standards, and communication standards

  • Develop documentation for new technology insertion

  • Provide support to management in areas of technical expertise and information gathering

More About the Role:

  • The solutions created will enhance program of record capabilities / systems.

  • The Software Engineer will design, develop and test these new solutions that will enhance program of record capabilities/systems

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

  • 9 plus years of Configuration Management Specialist activities

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other Engineering or Technical discipline

  • Active Secret Security Clearance

  • Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

  • functional and empirical analysis related to the design, development, and implementation of software systems

  • Minimum certification for IA Technical Level II, which may be GSEC, Security+, SCNP or SSCP.

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working on Microsoft (MS) PowerShell scripting, MS Rapid Provisioning System, and Desired State Configuration

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with automated testing tools and their configuration and execution

  • Minimum 2 years of experience worki9ng with identity management Software and public key (PKI) infrastructure technologies

VIEW JOBS 4/16/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-07-15T00:00 Engineering Technician II (with possible steps)(19-0635-F): This Engineering Technician II (with possible steps) will be supporting the Armor Mechanics Branch at the Army Research Laboratory on APG in Aberdeen, MD. This is an indoor range position. Candidate performs standardized or prescribed assignments involving a sequence of related operations. Follows standard work methods on recurring assignments but receives explicit instructions on unfamiliar assignments; technical adequacy of routine work is reviewed on completion; non-routine work may also be reviewed in progress. Performs at this level one or a combination of such typical duties as: * Conducts a variety of tests using established methods. Prepares test specimens, adjusts and operates equipment, and records test data, pointing out deviations resulting from equipment malfunction or observational errors. * Extracts engineering data from various prescribed but non-standardized sources; processes the data following well-defined methods including elementary algebra and geometry; presents the data in prescribed form. * Performs maintenance/upkeep (sweeping, general organization and housekeeping) of facility when necessary; modify facility as required for specific projects. * Performs instrumented experiments as tasked by government facility manager. * Helps train lower level personnel. * Will begin training to become an indoor test director. * Checks drawings provided by engineers and scientists to determine the adequacy of the drawings for target construction and successful completion of the associated test. * Conducts experiments which may require minor modifications in test setup or procedure. * Performs non-routine and complex assignments involving the reduction of instrumentation data that documents the results of ballistic experiments; digitizing x-rays, high sped imagery manipulation, etc. * Troubleshoots and corrects equipment malfunctions. Requirements • Must have a current state driver's license and be able to get certified to operate government vehicles and equipment. * Must be able to pass a respirator exam and be comfortable wearing a respirator - this is a requirement of the job. * Must hold an Ammo Handler certification. * Certified small and medium caliber loader-gunner (Category G-II) preferred. * Must be able to operate standard test equipment; x-rays, high speed and still cameras, hardness testers, digitizers, etc. * Must pass all required training deemed necessary by the facility manager and be familiar with all sites and SOP's for every site at the facility. SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED: Must currently hold and be able to maintain a security clearance at the Secret level. US Citizenship is a requirement for a Secret clearance at this location.
