We are looking for a talented Software Engineer UI/UX who is responsible for performing duties as UI/UX developer, you must have experience with Angular, you will utilize a range of tools including JavaScript, TypeScript, SCSS, Angular, RxJS and custom and internal tools in support of a customer-facing production web application.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Utilize Angular, Bootstrap, and internal tooling to build application-specific user interfaces

  • Learn, understand, and build intuitive user experiences around a custom WebAPI

  • Ensure UI performance for SPA/PWA applications

  • Assist internal and external end-users with technical issues

  • Participate in code reviews and adhere to the build and deploy strategy for assigned software development projects, using the designated version control system and code repository

  • Ensure project milestone feature and timing obligations are met

  • Proactively communicate obstacles and new timing projections to supervisor

  • Participate and present at meetings with internal and external stakeholders

  • Work cooperatively with other development team members

  • Ensure work is performed in a safe manner using all available safety equipment

  • All other related duties as assigned

  • Possess mental faculties consistent with performing the minimum requirements of the job

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Software Development or Engineering

  • Minimum of 1 year experience and understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript, SCSS, and HTML

  • Minimum of 1 year experience with Angular and RxJS

  • Minimum 1 year experience with asynchronous web programming, including calls to a RESTful WebAPI, Promises, Observables, Subjects

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Proven experience designing clean and intuitive user interfaces that result in a positive user experience

  • Preferred experience with performant/reactive HTML canvas-based components

  • The ideal candidate will possess passion and enthusiasm for learning and problem solving

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills

  • Ability to use a computer

Physical Requirements:

  • This position is located in an office and involves sedentary work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.

  • Ability to speak verbally, and read in English

  • Ability to see with corrective lenses

  • Ability to hear

  • Ability to walk

  • Ability to travel up to 20% domestically

Hazards:

  • Normal hazards related to working in an office environment, manufacturing, and testing environment

  • Normal hazards related to road and air travel
