The Role: Sensus, a Xylem brand, seeks to hire a Software Engineer, as a member of the Software Analytics Team; they will architect, design, develop and test Web UI applications. The successful candidate will have demonstrated the ability to succeed in a fast paced, fluid environment, while ensuring that project initiatives are met. Education, Experience, Skills, Abilities, License/Certification:
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
3+ years of experience in a software development related field
Strong experience with Angular, Vue.JS, React.JS or similar JS Framework
Ability to work independently, excellent problem solving skills
Ability to communicate effectively in writing, orally with both local and remote sites
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment of engineers to meet aggressive goals and high quality standards
Demonstrated experience working with cross functional teams
It would be awesome if you:
Have experience with designing and developing REST Web Services
Have experience with online distributed systems and platform infrastructure design and implementation
Spring Framework Experience or other like Framework
Have experience in no SQL databases, big data systems or business intelligence products
Have experience with Agile (SCRUM, RUP, XP), OO modeling, web services, UNIX, middleware, database and data mining systems
