And have these qualifications...

  • Back-End: Proficient in Java, Python, Node.js, etc...
  • Front-End: Experienced in HTML, CSS and JavaScript with Angular, Ember or React a plus
  • Experience: 4+ years experience in software development
  • Education: Degree in Computer Science or related or equivalent work experience
  • Database: SQL experience (specifically Postgres) experience a plus
  • Cloud: Experience writing for and deploying to AWS leveraging microservices a plus
  • Tools:
    Jira, Git, Slack

The Software Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing embedded and enterprise applications that are critical to internal business processes as well as external customers. This role will include interaction with internal product security experts, security system engineers, service teams, and commercial teams. Essential Responsibilities: Essential Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): * Act as a member of the Software team, working closely with cross-functional teams in understanding customer needs, collecting requirements, designing & implementing software, and driving feature integration. * Interact with GEHC cross-modality teams to promote consistency and maximize synergies across common software platform and security techniques * Develop high performing, scaling and innovative end-to-end applications across the full stack – front end UI, middle tier, and back end services * Design and develop prototypes to prove and demonstrate platform capabilities * Work in an Agile team process, collaborating closely with fellow developers, stakeholders * Support implementation and documentation for security business applications * Contribute to the team and works with direction from the Senior Team Members or management but works independently Qualifications/Requirements: Quality Specific Goals: 1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position 2.
