Job Summary:

Supermicro is seeking a top-notch hands-on Software Engineer who will develop test automation software. This includes writing shell scripts, libraries, and developing tools using standard framework. You will develop user interfaces using Django and API calls (Redfish, and other Open source projects). Innovate automated solutions that will leverage customary in-house tools. Hardware knowledge involving high-end server systems preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Build an infrastructure and integrate tools to automate the Execution of tests that are run on Linux Systems.

• You will work alongside with Software Engineers and Validation team members to understand the existing capabilities, and requirements. Build solutions for software deployment and enhance user experience during Test Execution.

• Develop automated test content and integrate within existing frameworks. Work to help create a front end interface using React js for test Engineers to Execute their tests and view results on a dashboard.

• Enable capability of rapid and efficient deployment of new test systems.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

• BS/MS CS/CE/EE

• 3+ years of working experience in a Linux development environment. OS Installation/PXE experience, debugging and trouble-shooting skills

• Strong Shell programming skills.

• Some experience with Robot framework, or writing system level python.

• Experience with multiple Linux Distributions.

• Has some knowledge on Software and hardware interactions at System level.

• Ability to work in a team environment, with a self-driven attitude.

• Excellent Verbal Communication skills.

Salary Range

$85,000 - $130,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
