SAIC is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to work on the development of a cloud based database application. We are in the process of migrating our current application from a .Net web application to IaaS. You would work along side our development team and aid in the development and deployment of this new application to our customers.
Build, develop and maintain tools to support the management of data on ephemeral environments
Provide subject matter expertise for development and cloud operations to ensure that strong application performance management (APM) strategies are used to guide application development and operations
Participate in a highly-motivated and agile team that has a customer-first, cloud-first focus
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, related field or equivalent experience.
6+ years of relevant experience
Previous experience with software development, infrastructure development, or development and operations
Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance.
OS administration experience in Linux
OS administration experience in Windows
Experience with containers in Docker or Kubernetes
Experience developing in MVC or ASP .Net
Experience with nonSQL databases such as MongoDB
