What we seek

Software Engineer with knowledge and experience in development languages/frameworks such as Java, JavaScript, J2EE, Spring, and will understand how to develop secure, reusable code.

  • BS Computer Science or related degree / experience; 2+ years of software development experience
  • Fluent in various other software engineering technologies and concepts including: Object Oriented Programming, Stored Procedure Coding, Regular Expressions, Data Binding, multi-threading, Encryption, JSON and database schema design.
  • Implemented RESTful Services in a Cloud-native platform- GCP/AWS/Azure.
  • Background in one or more of the database technologies used within FTD: MongoDB, Oracle, MySQL.
  • Comfortable working in the capacity of Full-Stack Developer to build Responsive web applications using React.
  • Skilled in an Agile environment- Scrum/Kanban.
  • Code configuration and deployment with the use of BitBucket and Jenkins.
  • Use of software engineering tools (such as JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
  • Implement or utilize Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) practices.
  • Familiarity with Java and J2EE concepts using Eclipse and/or IntelliJ.
  • Demonstrated skills in developing high-quality applications.
  • Meticulous in completing tasks on schedule, with high quality, and with attention to detail.
  • Strong team player yet self-motivated and able to make progress with limited direction.
  • Ability to work in a very fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
